Robert Duran is a native of the Fort Bend County area and this brings years of experience within the business community. Robert brought his experience working with the Leaman family in their Home Lumber & Hardware stores and was able to start the Duran’s Roofing and Remodeling legacy.
Today, Duran’s is one of the top local authorities in the roofing and remodeling industry, a name both families and businesses turn to.
Cheryl and Robert married in 1981. Cheryl started her professional career as a hair stylist. Cheryl was a key component when she and her husband began Duran’s Roofing and Remodeling in 1984. Now for more than two generations Duran’s Roofing and Remodeling has become a well-respected name known around the Fort Bend County area for its professionalism, attention to detail and quality service.
Born and raised in the Richmond/Rosenberg area and growing up in our family business, I was able to learn from a very early age about producing a high quality product and exceeding customer’s expectations. Building has always been an interest of mine. From restoring cars, CNC metal crafting or wood working, designing and building has been a part of me from an early age. With Duran’s, I started from loading construction debris onto dump trucks and have now grown throughout the years to be able to managing all our business operations. I personally appreciate the opportunities that this profession has given me and my family over the years. I always look forward to meeting new customers and finding out how I can assist in creating a solution for any ideas they may have on a project. I also enjoy keeping in touch with all our loyal customers that are like family and to sure that any and all of their needs are met. That’s the Duran Difference.
Jennie De Leon is office coordinator for Duran’s Roofing and Remodeling. Jennie has been with the company since 2006, she implements all procedures for all our projects. She maintains accounts payable, receivables, daily billing, customer service, manages all scheduling for Duran’s operations.
Jennie has been a resident of Fort Bend since 1992, in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

I’m a husband to my incredible wife, Lindsay, and a proud dad to two amazing kids—plus two wild dogs that keep things interesting at home. I’ve lived in this area my entire life, and it truly means a lot to me to call this place home. I’ve had the opportunity to watch this community grow over the years, and it’s something I take pride in being a part of. Most of my time outside of work is spent with my family, whether that’s at the little league baseball field, on a weekend trip to the beach, or just enjoying time together at home.
My faith is a big part of who I am. I’ve been actively involved in my church for the past 14 years, and it continues to shape how I live my life, how I treat people, and how I approach my work. It’s the foundation of my values—honesty, integrity, and genuinely caring about others—and those are things I carry with me into every conversation and every project.
Recently, I’ve also made fitness a priority again, and it’s become an important part of my daily routine. It’s something that helps me stay sharp mentally just as much as physically, and it’s been a great outlet alongside everything else life brings.
Professionally, I’ve been in construction and project management for over 10 years, and I truly enjoy helping homeowners bring their projects to life. My approach is simple: I like to keep things laid back, informative, and pressure-free. I focus on understanding your goals, walking you through the process, and making sure you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. When we meet, my goal is for you to walk away feeling informed, at ease, and confident in whatever decision you make.
